We are committed to advancing the well-being of the individuals we serve and our employees. Our goal is not simply to help our staff succeed within their professional position, but throughout their entire professional careers. Our experienced Training Department team provides ongoing unique educational programs to help newly employed staff learn the requirements of their roles, and help existing employees expand their skill sets.
All new staff will complete a customized Orientation Program that is based on his or her specific job responsibilities that helps them maximize skill retention and overall performance. Similarly, current employees are encouraged, and in some positions required, to complete specified training hours throughout the year. The Training Department offers a wide variety of in-service days and other relevant training courses, on all three shifts, which are updated quarterly in the Employee Training Catalog.
Most employee training takes place in the E. Sherman Chase Employee Training Center. The Chase Center is equipped with state-of-the-art learning technology and provides a perfect environment for instruction and interactive engagement. Soon, some courses will be offered online enabling learners to log in when it is most convenient for them.
