Provides direct psychological counseling, therapy, diagnostic assessment, advisory and interpreting services as part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of other professional planning and rendering treatment for assigned clients. Serve as part of the leadership group for their program area, assisting residential management to identify and correct problems. Identify and provide training to direct care and professional staff on topics relevant to work performance. Develop behavior modification programs.
Masters degree in Psychology or closely related discipline. License and/or school psychologist certification preferred. Background in the development and implementation of behavioral and non-behavioral mental retardation and disturbances of behavior. Experience in-group and individual therapy. Experience in psychodiagnostics.
