Employee Recognition Fund

Woods Services has long been a place where the little things matter. Small successes are celebrated as momentous occasions. Incremental progress in a client’s day program is honored as a significant accomplishment. Even tiny milestones are welcomed with smiles and high fives.

These “little” achievements are made possible through the dedication and commitment of our employees. Each day, personal care workers, teachers, nurses, therapists, recreation staff, housekeepers, and so many others support our residents by encouraging them to succeed and helping them reach their individual goals. It is the “little” things – encouragement, concern, care, and enthusiasm – that allow our residents to gain the confidence and skills they need to thrive here at Woods.

Since Woods’ employees cannot accept personal gifts from families, many people choose to thank staff by making a contribution in their honor to the Employee Recognition Fund. If you would like to pay special tribute to one or more employees during the holiday season, go to the Donation Form and -

In the “In honor of” field, enter the name of the employee(s) you wish to
honor and the residential unit or department they work in.

We will send a card on your behalf to notify staff that you have made a gift in their honor.
