Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play an important role in the services provided to Woods’ clients. We invite you to join this dedicated group of people who help to enhance the quality of life of those in Woods’ care.
- Types of Volunteer Activities–There are many different ways you can impact the life of someone with special needs. We offer several established options that benefit Woods’ clients or we can tailor a volunteer opportunity to meet you or your group’s needs and availability.
- How to Apply– Please complete the required application form. Print the form and mail it to:
Director of Volunteers
Once your application is received, Jennifer Hand, the Director of Volunteers, will contact you. In order to protect the health and well being of our volunteers and clients, all applicants who will interact in person with a client will be asked to submit to a Childline Clearance, Criminal Background Check, a TB skin test, and a drug screen. These can all be accomplished through Woods’ Human Resources and Employee Health departments. The Director will review this with you after accepting your application.
