Volunteers play an important role in the services provided to Woods’ clients. We invite you to join this dedicated group of people who help to enhance the quality of life of those in Woods’ care.
Types of Volunteer Activities–There are many different ways you can impact the life of someone with special needs. We offer several established options that benefit Woods’ clients, or we can tailor a volunteer placement to meet you or your group’s needs and availability.
Once your application is received, the Coordinator of Volunteers will contact you. In order to protect the health and well-being of our volunteers and clients, all applicants will be asked to submit to a Childline Clearance, Criminal Background Check, a TB skin test, and a drug screen. These can all be accomplished through Woods’ Human Resources and Employee Health departments. The Coordinator will review this with you after accepting your application.
