July 14th, 2009

Langhorne, Pa. – Eric Zee, President and CEO of Radnor Benefits Group, Inc. located in Wayne, PA, announced recently that his company signed on as the Premier Sponsor of the Woods Services Foundation Golf Classic.  The Woods Services Foundation Golf Classic, celebrating its 20th anniversary, has raised more than $400,000 to support enhancements to the facilities and programs at Camp Joy, Woods’ year around camp for people with disabilities.

“I feel fortunate that my company’s partnership with Brian’s House and Woods Services has made me aware of the wonderful work being done to enable people with disabilities to lead full and rewarding lives,” announced Eric Zee.  “I look forward to doing all that I can to help support their efforts.”  This year’s tournament will take place at the prestigious Manufacturer’s Club in Fort Washington, PA on October 19.

Summer 2009 marks Camp Joy’s 35th season as a special needs camp for children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, brain injury, and neurological disorders.  Located in the wooded hills of Schwenksville, PA, Camp Joy’s year-round recreational services include Summer Camp, Adventure Camp, and Weekend Getaways in the fall and spring.

Brian’s House, a subsidiary of Woods Services, oversees the Camp Joy operations.  Woods acquired Brian’s House, located in Chester County, and Camp Joy in 1996.  In 1913, Mollie Woods founded The Woods Schools for children with developmental disabilities.  Known as Woods Services today, the non-profit organization provides educational, residential, and vocational services to more than 1,400 children and adults with special needs.  Woods is located in Langhorne, Pa. with additional locations throughout Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties.  For more information, visit the website at www.woods.org.
