Sussex Holiday Celebration

A Day of Community, Care, and Connection

Sussex Holiday Celebration: A Day of Community, Care, and Connection

Bridgeway’s Sussex location recently hosted a festive and meaningful holiday celebration that brought together 66 Partial Care members, persons served supported by the Case Management team, and dedicated staff. The day was filled with warmth, connection, and holiday spirit, creating a welcoming and joyful space for everyone in attendance.

The celebration featured a musical holiday sing-along, a hearty hot lunch served by staff, a lively dance party, and cake, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, have fun, and enjoy time together. The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation were a testament to the thoughtful planning and care put into the day by the Sussex team.

A particularly meaningful aspect of the celebration was the generosity shown by staff, who contributed several themed gift baskets and grocery store gift cards for those in attendance. This thoughtful gesture helped support individuals during the holiday season and reflected the compassion and teamwork that define the Sussex programs.

“This celebration truly reflected the heart of our Sussex team,” said Ronald Allen, Program Director. “Everyone contributed in some way, and seeing the positive response from the people we serve was incredibly meaningful. It’s a testament to the dedication and generosity of our staff.”

Persons served shared very positive feedback about the event, highlighting how much they valued the experience. The celebration served as a reminder that the impact of Bridgeway’s work extends beyond services alone, reaching moments of connection, dignity, and joy.
