Who We Are

Woods System of Care is a nonprofit network of organizations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey that serves more than 40,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, brain injury, behavioral health challenges, and complex medical conditions.

Our broad range of services includes home- and community-based services, community-based residential homes and supportive housing, educational services, vocational training and employment, and integrated primary, behavioral, dental and specialty care.

8-Step Process

1. Determine strategic and cultural fit
2. Sign non-disclosure agreement
3. Conduct due diligence for both agencies
4. Develop letter of intent
5. Develop, negotiate, and sign a definitive affiliation agreement and related documents
6. Obtain necessary board approvals for affiliation
7. Execute all legal documents
8. Provide notice to and obtain approvals for the affiliation from third parties
